The visible text reads “we live opulently in the depths” and “Play”! Spoiler alert: after being attacked by her evil bird husband and having her father cut off her fingers to save himself, Sedna has a beautiful life under the sea with her lover, the Storm goddess.

Sedna inspires tons of colors! I am excited to work on this one—a happy octopus is often pale! But, I also have plans for a bright, rich, larger Sedna quilt.
